So had my Chim now for about a year, cant see why i would ever part with the beast(well I can but kids and that sort of thing is many years away yet), the question I have is how long to people expect their engines/cars to last. I look after my car, never booting it until warm etc, but was wondering what the general life expectancy was on the engine, I realize that engines can be rebuilt etc, just wondering what the highest mileage Chim out there is on??
Well the engine should be good for 100k plus miles, judging by the land rovers that use the same engine. Also seen a chim for sale recently with 110k on the clock! 
When I was looking at mine I test drove one with 80k miles and it seemed to drive just as well as one with 40k, although the interior looked more worn, which is to be expected.

Don't even need undertakers, just aim at a hill and hit the loud pedal!
