Geometry setup at Protyre

I had a new front set of Toyo Proxes back in April, fitted at protyre in Bristol. They also did a full tracking/camber alignment.

The tecnician who did it set the car up as a Cerbera (was no Chimaera on their computer) and was adoment that the spec was is the same for both cars. I paid them nearly £100 for the setup and left. The steering was much heavier but the car now drove straight.

Four months on, the steering was really stupidly heavy and the new front Toyo Proxes have worn very badly.

I returned to Protyre and this time a technician set the front tracking and camber as a Griffith. The steering is now so much lighter and I don't have to force it onto lock.

I paid £47 for the privelege but I feel cheated as I drove 2000 miles on new tyres with the geometry set all wrong and hence they have worn badly.

Should I make a fuss and complain?

Certainly. If you pay a supplier to do something that you are subsequently unhappy with, your first port of call should always be back to the supplier. It's only fair that they should be given the opportunity to remedy it. Based solely on what you've said, I'd be very unhappy.
