Total De cat and manifold mods....

Using Chimaera running gear/manifolds to build something else
De cat and manifold mods...

If the pre cats are totally cut out and the pipes shortened so the 90deg elbows can then be welded direct in their places, plus the main cat in the Y section is also cut out so it's lower cone section can be moved up to take it's place... Will a rev cone still be required? Not that there’s anywhere to fit it now lol.
What effect will not fitting one make as the pipes are shortened and decatted?
Does that make sense ?
