225/50ZR15 + 245/45ZR16 Tyre choices

I'm currently on 225/50ZR15 front and 245/45ZR16 Rear S-02 Pole Positions (on the Griff 500 7-spoke wheels) but am struggling to source S-02 or S-03 in those sizes.
Looking at the cars at BNG, the vast majority are on 205/55R15 (front) + 225/50R16 (rear) and the majority are still on Bridgestone S-02 or S-03. The majority of discussion on here about tyres is also for the 205/225 sizes.
My current thinking is to stay on the 225/245 size combo (I've got power steering and I like the current handling) and go for the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD-2 or the Toyo Proxes T1-R (front) T1-S (rear).
Is there anyone who has recently changed to either of these tyres (or indeed to anything else) within the select band of us that are on the 225/245 combination?

Nick, I have the same car, same year and the same 'Estoril' seven-spoke alloys. The car is still wearing the original Bridgestone S-02 Pole Positions, 225/50 ZR 16"s on the rear, 205/55 ZR 15"s on the front. I haven't driven my car in the set-up you have, but I could recommend my set-up as the ride, handling, grip and traction are all excellent.

That's exactly how I feet about my set-up (or did until I wore the tyres out that is - it's a bit slippery now
). Trouble is, you can't get S-02s in any size for love nor money - do I go for a size and brand change, or just change one variable at a time..?!
225 - sorry to hear about the S-03s - that's what I heard too, although I'm told they get better with miles on them. You still got the grin a couple of months on tho? Maybe 225 now relates to the tyre width?!

p customer service a few years back (long story involving a Metro and 4 tyres with manufacturing defects), I can't bring myself to buy Dunlop again!
Surely someone else is on 245/225 setup? Or has anyone driven both and can relate one to the other?
2SB - you must have tried all combos on the 35 Chims that you've owned...?
Or am I swimming against the tide?!

Hmmm. Yes, that was a common fault with those odd Metro tyres.
