Hi

Does anyone know or have had experience of anybody that will fix/replace the rear window on my Chimaera?

And if so how much lighter was your wallet/purse?

I'm based in Leeds, so the closer the better

Cheers
Rich

Not sure of anywhere around Leeds (I'm too far south), but whenyou do find somewhere, check your insurance details as some policies cover the rear screen too.

Can't help with your location but I had mine done recently and it was about £200. Check with your insurer though because your glass cover may mean that you just have to pay the ~£50 excess, as I did.

Good luck

Woody,

Spotted this on the N Yorks TVR Club site (via link below and select Member Benefits).

www.yorknet.co.uk/tvrcc/

Based in Harrogate, says roof repair, extra 10% off if a TVR Club member. Must be worth a go if you're Leeds based.

If any good please post back. I'll be in need of some hood repair next year.

Alastair.

Hi mate... Give Dave a call at Trim Shop in Huddersfield 01484 429992. He does a lot of classic car work and has done a few tvr`s.. Not sure on a price but he`s pretty reasonable with most jobs. Tell him you got his number from Steve at Colin Appleyards.

They should install a new window. If they want to reinstall the old one, tell them to clear off.

Oh it's a new window they're putting in POD, hopefully I'll be able to see the BiB the next time they're right behind me!!

And save myself 3 points and 60 notes
