Interior fan controller connector melted...

Interior fan stopped working a few days ago so I've whipped off the dash top and it looks like the connector has burned out...
I've done a bit of research and it looks to me like the connector is a Valeo part that is the same as a Renault 19/21Megane etc fan controller....
Part no's (Renault 7701033535, 7701040562, 7702258241, 7702206221 ,Valeo 508588, 509283)
The female connector are available in a few places on eBay etc.
Male connector not so much...
Does the connector burning out usually take out the custom TVR control box? Looks fine to me apart from the connector. Nothing else looks fried/blown up! (I'm just amazed they designed/built this rather than using something off the shelf!)
