Just got a child seat fitted - Mother Advance SP

The great new it that it fits in the Chim. We had to get a rubber mat to stop the car seat sliding about on the Chim seat but other than that it's a good fit.

As it as a sunny morning I drove our toddler home from Mothercare in the newly installed seat with the top down. My wife drove the 406 back.

So if you want a recomendation...

Not sure if I would take any toddlers out in my chim, would prefer the transport with every bit of modern safety kit, but that's your choice.

The good news though is that I can confirm that she will send them to sleep. Everytime I take my 14 year old out she ends up asleep. Long journey, top down full grin making V8 rumble all make no difference. Doesn't do much for the street cred

I have been using a Britax 'Cruiser Plus' for quite a while. It has the advantage that it is dead easy to take out and store in the boot if you want to leave the car with the roof down.
