I need to replace the large hose from the top of the swirl pot to the engine which has split near the clamp, however I can only really find full kits. Of course the rest of them may not be too far behind seeing as they are the originals. But are coolant hoses available separately anymore? Or is it just the after market silicone types?

New rad has been on the list for a few years as it has always weeped a bit, so maybe I have to go the whole hog, however this one hose would allow it to used over the summer.

EDIT - I think I found it so dont worry.

Have a look at the length and diameter of the hoses you need, then look at Auto Silicone Hoses.
They won't match what's in your engine bay already, but you'll likely be able to replace with similar stuff (like the wrapped black finish is quite smart).

For the top elbow from the swirl pot to the engine - I measured a 38mm ID 90deg elbow, which will trim to fit. I haven't changed mine as yet, but it's on my list for future jobs.

It does rather seem the original bend profile is not available and a tighter 90deg is what most alternatives are using. I note the ACT offering is listed as a 'soft bend' and looks similar angle to that linked above. Other products are a much more abrupt bend.

Yes, the original form is a softer bend, whereas the ASH one is a tighter 90°
The CarBuilder Solutions one might be a better option for that reason...
