I've downloaded rovergauge and the main page show up, however I'm not able to find the correct USB port. I've already used com1-4 and 14+15, non will recon it. With settings I do not get a drop down of com options, it's all Blanco. Checking the laptop to determine the com port does not give me any clue. When I connect the USB I hear a sound but do not see anything change in device Manager of the laptop. Can someone help me how to be sure which com port I need to type or get the dropdown menu to work?
The main question is if the USB cable in the car is Connected to the cars computer, I'm not fully sure about this. When I check the file name of the USB I could find it's called: ft232r USB uart. Checking Google and found it's a chip, not sure if it's the ECU or the rovergauge connector.

It's been ages since I've used rovergauge so I can't be much help beyond the stupid question of have you got the ignition on?

More than once have I been sitting there playing with the settings only to realise that there's no flashy lights on the cable because the ignition was switched off hehe
