A Chim on the Sea-cats?

I'm off to France in November and am going by sea-cat with Hoverspeed. I usually take the train, but the lure of cheap tickets means I'm on the cat.

The question is: has anyone had a problem getting a Chim on and off the loading ramps? are they fairly flat?

Doubt you'll have a problem... they're pretty good.

I'm pretty sure I have (it *was* a long time ago!). It may help to take the ramps at an angle and obviously go slowly. The angle of the ramps depends on the level of the tide. They have planks of wood there if necessary.

I had no problems, but the Ferrari in front had a hard time.

Pretty sure you'll be OK. The exhaust is what you should watch out for as you get of the ramp (if going out front first). They have all sorts of planks and mats so make sure they use them. Enjoy the drive!

No Problem with either the Chim or the Tuscan on the Cats, just ask the guy's to watch you on and off and ask to park on the level!

Thanks guys, I e-mails Hoverspeed and they said they had not had any probs before. Just didn't want a cheap weekend in France to turn into an expensive one!

So cheap wine and chocolate here I come!!!

Make sure you even out the load, DON'T put it all in the boot! or else you may have a clearance problem!

Of more concern to me would be why the crew know the SeaCat as the Vomit Comet.. .. ..
