Magnecor v. Range Rover Classic (Lucas) leads?

Thinking of replacing my leads and maybe coil as they are 6 years old now.

In the Bible, Steve chooses Lucas leads over Magnecor as they are a third of the price.

Are there obviously ie noticiable performance gains? I don't track my car just 'spirited' road use.

Could be my first step down the upgrade path...

No performance gains in terms of engine bhp/torque output when the leads are healthy. The main difference I can see is that the Magnecor leads withstand the heat better so they last much longer (effectively forever in my experience) before they break down. Depending how hot they get, the Lucas leads might start to break down within a few months/ couple of years. If they break down then this can lead to running problems, but the problem is knackered leads versus good rather than Lucas versus Magnecor.
