Cracks around the exhaust tail pipes

I noticed yesterday that I have cracks around the exhaust tail pipes under the bumper moulding. They are radial cracks I.E concentric with the pipes itself. Does anyone else these?
Are they caused by the heat effecting the glass fibre or could the previous owner gone over a speed bump and the tale pipes been pushed up into the body? :scratchchin:

If the glass was being affected by heat I would have thought that the paint may have suffered first, any discolouration?

There is a slight discolouring but no your right you would expect to see heat marks.

Sounds more like impact damage.

Mine has exactly the same. The previous owner reckoned he reversed into a kerb which pushed the pipes up and cracked it. This was the only niggle on an otherwise perfect car, hence I bought it.

TVRBodyShop quoted over a grand to repair, but I reckon you can get away with only painting up to the crease line that runs the length of the "bumper" section and below. I expect you could get it repaired for about £200.

I had exactly the same round one of mine.

Just get yourself down any good motor factors or fibreglass shop buy some strand matting, resin and hardner and do the job yourself....all you have to do is lift the mat in the boot and you will see where it is cracked.
Coat the inside surrounding the crack soak the mat before putting on and leave to dry...

Just try mixing some fibreglass and do a few test peices...you will be surprised at how easy it is.
