If anyone is looking to upgrade their wheels let me know as I am trying to get hold of a pair of 16" 500 7 spokes to put on the front of my griff. I was going to get some RL-7's but they don't exist any more and so far I haven't found any other wheels that I think look as good as the 7 spokes.

You're right - the RL7s disappeared about a year a go or so, according to a fella from Carlisle Wheels that I spoke to yesterday (thinking of doing the same & Apache's look soooooo good).

I've being looking for some 16's for the front of my Griff for about 6 months (to allow the use of bigger brakes along with wider choice in tyres)have not seen or heard of any for sale.
The only wheel I've found that I like is from the Speedline Corse range, although fitting these means buying a set of four.
I will keep trying to find a pair of 7 spokes and e-mail you if I find more than one pair(don't hold your breath)and hope you'd do the same.
If not I'll wait till the tyres need replacing and consider some Speedlines maybe 17in fronts and 18in rears along with the new tyres.

So if I find my car up on bricks one day I'll know who did it....

I guess a few people are trying to do this. I spoke to Neil at Peninsular, who said they were looking in to the possibility of a kit to allow the Griff’s to take 5 stud wheels as there are many sets of 16” wheels for sale second hand. I guess in the mean time I will just keep on looking. If I find a secret supply of 16” seven spokes I will let you know.
