It has become an expensive thing to do.
I had a leaking clutch m/c, which eventually became empty.
But when I had to take the job on, I discovered the brake m/c was leaking into the servo, which was also banjaxed.
Replaced the whole lot, as well as replacing the slave cylinder and repainting the pedal box.
Easily over £500, but I now have hydraulics I can rely on, and I won't need to go in again for a good while.

That’s what I ended up doing whilst the pedal box was out, as I never wanted to do it again. I had a leaking clutch m/c, which eventually became empty.

The brake fluid reservoir was split on my car, probably due to the under bonnet heat over the years.
