Anyone familiar with R 857 COT ?

As the proud new owner of this Chim that was exported to the Netherlands in 2012, I would love to know more about its history and maybe some former caretakers.

Glad to have the original owners manual with pre-delivery inspection and registration R857COT noted in Feb 1998 at Portfield Sports&Classics, Chichester, West Sussex.

Hopefully I didn’t miss the “Never ever start a topic about a historical search on your car”-forum rule
