You lift me up
Discussion
Hey,
I had a search and a Google but couldn't find what I was looking for so sorry if this has been done before!
Has anyone seen those manually driven scissor lifts from the likes of Sealey, SGS and CJ Autos?
They all seem to have a minimum width of 775mm which I'm not sure is narrow enough for our centre chassis rails (530mm ish on mine) but should be compatible with ground clearance.
Has anyone used one of these or if they are any good please?
Is there a best practice for how to lift a chimaera with something like this?
Is tilting or non tilting best?
Would love to know if they are a decent option for someone like me who will get their hands dirty but not really wanting to become a professional mechanic!
Appreciate the thoughts,
D
