Windscreen cracks!

About a month back a crack appeared at the near side bottom corner of my 98 Chimaera, mostly in the black section so not too much of an issue. I tried ‘magic filler’; waste of time. Now another crack has appeared, more visible, of the lower off side corner.

I’m reluctant to replace the glass without identifying the cause, so wondered if any other owners have experienced this?

Not aware of stone chips/no obvious signs
Roof fits OK, was in place when the second crack appeared
Can’t see any issue with the chassis or outriggers
No pulling on the screen when getting in or out.
Under the carport when last crack appeared so don’t think it’s extreme sunshine/heat
In fact, nothing obvious at all!
