Chim Alarm Siren

Anybody know what make and model alrm siren would have been fitted to my 1998 Chimaera?

Mine has stopped working although the system seems to work apart from that. Was the siren integral with the alarm or is it a seperate unit?

Any help would be appreciated

I have the same problem. I think it is in the arch behind the near side light and infront of the wheel? It's a Meta alarm and a pian to get repaired. Let me know if you have any luck!

Had the same problem. Cost about £90-£100 for Carl Baker to supply and fit a new one. I'm not sure they are that easy (or cost effective) to get repaired.

Russ, can you remember whether you had to have a whole new alarm unit or did you just replace the siren.

I had a similar issue, alarm would sound sound when I wanted it too, but kept going off in the night. It was a dodgy siren - karl baker sorted. Also my door pin switches were filthy and the rubber pads on the door were missing - well worth checking as well.
