What's in the footwell.???

Just changed my battery and I've noticed that the stereo now cut's out then back in again in the following situations:

Turn left agressively
Hit a bump in the road with the nearside front wheel

What could I have affected by removing and then replacing the battery.??

Is it possible that I haven't tightened the contacts enough, and I'm losing the feed to the stereo for a split second.??

Could I have moved a relay / wire / fuse / thingamyjig (technical term).???

All thoughts welcome.......

PS. I had this trouble about 12 months ago - I pushed in all the fuses (tried this again - no joy) which fixed the problem until now.........

I replaced my battery and accedently pulled the lead for the 6 disc changer out of the stereo - Doh!
Caused a simular problem.

So then I had to take the stereo out to put it back in.
