Modwise Boot Release Kit & Steve Heath Cooltester - Feedback

I thought it might be useful to offer some feedback on the above.
1. If you're fed-up with faffing around opening the boot from the inside of the car, then Modwise's boot release is a superb piece of kit which I fitted to my Chim a couple of months ago and I have had no problems with it since. It is reasonably straight-forward to fit, though I felt the instructions could have been a little bit clearer in places. The boot release mechanism is triggered by a bringing a magnet in very close proximity to a sensor which has to be fixed somewhere at the rear of the car. Some people attach the sensor to the inside of one of the rear light clusters and others to somewhere behind the number plate. I have a later Chim with the illuminated rear number plate and decided to fix the sensor (with some silicone) to the inside of the clear plastic lens covering one of the number plate bulbs.
2. I have had intermitant leaks form the cooling system, which over a period of time I have not really been able to isolate and sort out. I took the plunge and bought Steve Heath's Cooltester, which basically pressurises the system when it's cold using a footpump. Any leaks are found as the the pressure forces the water out through any holes. It's incredibly easy to use and very effective - I only wish I had bought it earlier. I narrowed my leak down to a failing hose clip on the radiator return hose.
