With the roof on you will be able to carry on a conversation - with the roof off you will need to shout if you want to be heard.

The roof should be off unless you need the boot space or there is torrential rain.

A couple of months ago ,I was checking out a vibration on a private stretch of road, at just XXX I couldnt hear my father in the passenger seat, with the hood on.
