Minor electrical problem?

I've a small electrical problem with my 1998 Chimaera. Any help would be appreciated.

Basically, the following won't work - windscreen washer, cigar lighter (not that I smoke cigars) and horn.

I was pretty sure this must be a fuse but having checked Steve's book, I couldn't find one for all 3, or a fuse diagram that corresponded with the fuses in my car! I, therefore, checked all the fuses and then swapped them with ones I reckoned were OK. No joy....

Any advice?

BTW the driver's dipped beam is also gone (full is OK) but I expect this is just the bulb.

I would suggest its an earthing problem. I know the horn and washers share a common earth (they do on mine anyway) but I dont know about the cigar lighter.

my lighter and mirrors are dead, again I have checked the fuses and all look fine. I believe they are on the same circuit according to some googling. Are your mirrors working?

They are definately working insofar as they reflect light

I'll check tomorrow if the motors work.

Make sure the cooling fans are working.

Horn is usually connected to one of the horn fuses on the later cars...

If you'd had the day I'd had...

Besides, it's a TVR. Probably is a fan fuse on a Tuesday with a south westerly wind... it's just the fan is plugged into it.

On mine the manual says fuses the horn is connected to the fan fuse on the left... it's not - it's on the right.

My first TVR had the position of reverse gear in the handbook scribbled out & repositioned in black biro!
