Locking car without alarm....help!!

Right, I've got a small problem. My alarm key fob seems to have stopped working, and guess what I've only got one.....I knew this would happen!

Thankfully my car is open and in the garage, however is there anyway in which to lock the car without setting the alarm. I know how to get into the car if the car is locked...but no idea how to lock it without the key fob working- is it possible? my first option is to go get some new batteries, but I've got a suspicion this wont fix the problem.

Second question, this has given me the kick up the arse to get a second key fob. I didn't get the red security card number when I got the car, is their anyway in yorkshire where I can take my car to get this done?

I'm not aware of any way of locking the car without the fob, sorry. I got a new fob from a place in Harrogate - HHC sourced it for me (the guys in HHC workshop will point you in the right direction). It can be a real pain to get it to work, but it's well worth it.

hello,not sure what year your car is but mine is a 93 and i can lock car without key fob..not sure on newer cars! but fairly simple ...key in lock,turn (not sure clockwise or anti).take key out ,push button down and should not open door...do same with other side as it doesnt lock both this way.hope this works on your car,rob
