Try David Batty at The Garage in Compton near Guldford Tel. 01483 811995. He has fixed rates for servicing and does a great job so give him a call.

Echo the first response - as far as roads: try and get the Pirbright Bends right!

Batty is without a doubt your man. 350 inc VAT for 12,000 mile (full) service

I take mine to Dave... great service and price - although book in advance, he's a very busy man!

I agree with BEANO1197 on the road .... Pirbright Bends which is the B3012 between Frimley Green and Pirbright!

I grew up in Frimley (in the 1980's) which is near one end of the road and all the idiots at school would 'try' and be the quickest to drive up and down the road with their mates trying to keep up behind (usually in an old Metro or Ford Escort) ! Every year some prat would end up driving off the road into the trees .... oh .... didn't we mention that ?

Pirbright Bends isn't that long but has lots of twists and turns (and hence locals calling it Pirbright Bends), a hump half way down, a tight turn under and around a bridge .... but lots of trees and very very little run off. The challenge is therefore to drive it smoothly without twating your car into the trees.

Since being at school (and now living in London) I returned to the blessed road with a mate on our motorbikes to show him the road. It used to be a battered old bit of tarmac but they have now kindly resurfaced it and put little bits of 'armco' like kerbing around the corners .... very considerate.

Have fun .... but be careful !?!

I live just up the road at the top of Deepcut (no jokes please!) and use the road frequently (mainly on my pushbike at the weekend). I love the response to the local council's putting up all the tight bend chevrons because the speed merchants are using them as targets instead of the usual trees

It is also a good place to see the probable after effects of drink driving or how else do some of them get their cars into the position they do?

I've been to Motorvation in Dorking too and found them to be very thorough. Check the price for a service on the phone.

Try Andy @ APM Automotive based in Bordon.
01420 473931 or 07740 723673.

In my experience far better and cheaper than dealer servicing. Also picks up my car from Guildford for a little extra. Wouldn't let anyone else touch my Chim.

I would also recommend Fernhurst, excellent service and the first time I took my Chim in they looked over the whole car free of charge and recommended any work that needed to be done...

They also provided a courtesy car, a 1.0 Lt Micra which after my Civic Type R and Chim was a real humbling experience!...
