I have recently changed the front of the rsdio/switch panel for a new item as the wood veneer was coming off on my 1994 Chim. Having replaced this, and in doing so disturbed the wiring to the light switches,I now find that I have no main or dipped headlight at all on the nearside and only main beam on the offside. I checked the headlight switch and found that it has 4 spade connectors 2 where already occupied, one by a by a red/white wire and the other by a blue wire. I found 2 spade connectors that were loose in the wiring harness one has a red/white wire coming from it, with the other end connected to a spade connector on the side light switch and the other has a red/blue wire coming from it with the other end connected to a spade on the fog light switch. Having checked the fuses are ok and after referring to the bible I remain confused as to where these spade connectors go. They may not go anywhere of course, being included in the wiring harness for extras that are not fitted. I have however tried a permutation of connections, swapping between the spades on the light switch. The results alternate, between no dipped or no headlight, or no headlight ar all. What I need from you DIY Chim experts is a wiring diagram for the head light switch. Not shown in the bible wiring diagram as all headlight wires terminate in a wiring connector block, most unhelpful.

This is a old post now, wondering if you solved it. I have a similar problem with the other switches.

best you explain your problem rather than someone else's that may not be relevant.
Include the year of your car as it may be relevant.
