Dashboard Repairs and Cleaning

Hi All,

Ive got the vinyl dashboard covering (not leather..) and it has a very small tear in it.
Does anyone recommend a good glue that should work well? or does trusty superglue work well?

Also, my car gets used alot with the roof down so the interior gets a bit grubby.
Anyone know of a good cleaning product to bring the best out of the dash?

as always, your knowledge is appreciated.

Try the Bostik extra strong all purpose adhesive (in the purple tube), clear and dries quickly. Great for any plastics, fabrics etc.
Also for cleaning the plastic on the dash, door trim etc try 'Cif' cream kitchen cleaner. Apply it with a damp cloth and rub lightly, then wipe over with a clean damp cloth. I then use a car interior cleaner/conditioner (Meiguars) as a final coating, to protect the surface and buff it up. Brings the whole thing up a treat!!

im a valletor and the suff we use at work is called super intirior cleaner [sic] i do mine in it too cuz use mine all the time and i work at a scrapyard to, and do a bit of mechanics so it gets well oily and dirty but whats the point in havin it and not usein it so thats what i recomend
