Wing mirror heater relay
Discussion
OK - so I've fixed the misfire with new HT leads and distributer cap. The eye-watering poisonous fumes have been eliminated by changing a jubillee clip on the PAS pump(thanks to Leadfoot for that bit of genius - buy that man a drink!)
Still left with the passenger side wing mirror not heating up. Would love to know where the relay that controls this lives. I don't think that it is the same unit that controls mirror adjustment.
Anyone ever had to sort this problem?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
Richard Fisher

Richard,
If it's the same as mine, the relay is under the dash on the passenger side along with a few other relays. Mine is a heated rear windscreen relay off a Ford. If the drivers side is working I'd have thought it was a wiring fault or a faulty heating element rather than a relay. The + is coloured blue/orange I believe. Might be worth just swapping over the mirro glass to ensure that the heating element in the mirro is o.k.
