I fail to understand your interest here Mrmaggit- I assumed you bare-chested, medallion wearing poseur Griffith monkeys preferred an ice cold Sex On The Beach or Screaming Orgasm to a cup of tea

they've been referred to as Chimps by owners for a long time, I remember back on the yahoo groups TVR mailing list the profile for "Graham & his chimp" but loads of other references too, just google TVR chimp and you'll get thousands.

Chimps Tea Party? hmmm

How about a joint meet with the Griff owners? We could call it Chimps and Gimps then!

Hold your horses.

There's something being worked up but the timing and venue are tied to another event that is still to be sorted. It'll be backed by the TVRCC but will be open to all.

If things work out it is intended to be a weekend camping/hostelry event in the midlands. More to follow once the basics are pulled together.

You're welcome to come to the Growl, well 2SmokingBarrels just got out alive last year, but Chimaeras are the last single model owners to sort out a get-together. Sorting a venue big enough is usually the hardest part. Did you know of any Golf Clubs with a spare weekend you could take over?

The proposed venue is enormous. There's no way we could fill it.

Better find somewhere a bit smaller, then, or you'll all get lost.

Where the hell do you guys get your pictures from? Surely you can't Google a "Chimps Tea Party" and get a sensible result? Faintly distrubing ...

Note the bottle of beer in young Nathan's hand.
Monkeh makes for an excellent role model!

I like the way the monkey gets a banana and the young lad gets a burger and a beer.

That's evolution for ya!
