I'm getting the distinct impression that everyone here is a man ! Are there no women Chimp drivers amongst us. Is it true TVR are only for men.

Step forward and declare yourself !! Unless of course yer built like a russian shot-putter and have Love & Hate Tatatoos on yer nuckles.

Gaffer yer not like Ting Tong from Little Britain? Hard to a imagine a woman being able to drive a Chimp..specially with that tank-like-clutch...not to mention being able to see over the bonnet.

Treading on thin ice here ....... I bought my Chim off a petite slim female who was on her second Chim and elected not to have power steering on my car as she felt it gave better control. She took me out for a test drive and didn't hang about either.

PS A chimp has long hairy arms and knuckles that drag on the floor Hmmmmm

Never having seen Little Britain, I have no idea who you are on about.
I learnt to drive in various TVR's. Mostly the press cars. Cerbs and Tuscans are no hassle either.

Yes the clutch is heavier but again its not an issue. I am 5 foot 4 and can see over the bonnet. You get a feeling for where the front and back of the car is.

Zippy mate....You are Soooo dead when we meet up in London in January

Gaffer is definately a girl.

I've seen her in her interview suit. Didn't know where to look.

Actually thats not true. I did know where to look, but the skill was in not getting caught doing so....

Add another one to the confirmation list of Gaffer being female. Regards the driving technique, the way she pilots a car you could be forgiven for thinking she can't see over the steering wheel...
