Windscreen Wiper Blades

I need to replace my windscreen wiper blades ideally not the whole arm just the blades would appreciate some guidance on where I can get these or what car they are from.

Halford do replacement blade kits - trimmable to the right size...about £7 a set for both wipers

I went for the full Leven replacement system, the difference is worth every penny.

I also recently did the Leven upgrade, think it was 50 quid for the whole lot including arms, blades and uprated washers - can't believe the difference they make, worth every penny!

If you do go for the Leven upgrade, dont do what I did, read the instructions first.

Take some time to set them up properly and they wont dissapoint.

Wash/wipe system
Replaces the loop pipe with a blade mounted 3 jet head system and new rubber arm complete. The wiper blades are specially made to suit the shape of the windscreen.

A small jet head incorporating 3 individually jets is attached to a new wiper arm which comes complete with new rubber blades. The jet head is small and discrete. The whole unit is easy and quick to fit it provides a great improvment to the existing version. The system is designed by Leven and fits all models with the loop pipe ie; Griffith, Chimaera, Cerbera, and all current models with 16" wipers. Photo shows the spray head.

Blades only (pair) - £30.00 inc VAT & delivery. Wiper arms - £28.62 inc VAT & delivery. Complete kit - £58.12 inc VAT & delivery.

ditto comments from others re Leven kit - what a differance! Ditch the standard one's and go for Leven, there's no looking back. Always good customer service from these guys too.

If you just want the standard blades,then take one off and take it in to your motorfactor for them to measure up and compare.There just a Universal type and the size is the length in inches.You should have no problems,i didn't.I've never found the need to improve them,when all is working fine spending that kind of money on the Leven ones seems a little excessive to me.

I find that the current Valeo and recent Bosch blades miss a bit of the screen (but only in one direction) in front of me. Not enough to worry about, but I would like proper coverage.

Thanks for the good comments, it's good to know we get it right sometimes.
It took us a while to get these correct and in the end we had to have them made to our specificiation.
