hello all, i am so loving my chim! although it has cost me a small fortune keeping it on the road!

When the steering wheel is turned full to left or right i gat a strange knocking noise as if the wheel is fouling somthing, any ideas?

I had an M reg 4.0 which used to foul on the battery box on full lock.

I just lived with mine. Is the noise deffo from the front end? Apparently the LSD can also clonk a bit under tight manouvring.

Might be worth getting your tracking checked, mine was rubbing on full lock before I had mine adjusted.

def from front end, just had lsd rebuilt

What size/profile tyres do you have on the front?
My car had 205/60/15 on the front which used to rub on the wheel arch when reversing on full-lock.
I have since changed them to 205/55/15 (i.e. standard profile for a 4.0) - sorted!

might just be tyres grabbing and releasing ie side wall movement
