Jeremy Clarkson's Chimaera road test

Does anyone remember the road test of the chimaera Jeremy Clarkson did way back on Top Gear?

If so does anyone have a copy or know of a download as I would like to get hold of it. Any info would be great!

I did find this earlier this week which may also be of interest although it'll cost you about £8.50 with the postage. Just a thought but does R285 LHR (???) belong to anyone on here?

that test is also featured in the recent TVR prformance portfolio i suggest you try and get hold of a copy, its a great read!

What's the TVR Performance Portfolio? Where can I get it?

the performance portfolio is published by Brooklands books the one of interest is the 1995-2000 edition. its a roadtest book specifically about TVR's.
you can order a copy through your local bookshop (thats what i did) the 1986-1994 edition features the first drive of the Chimaera when it was launched. both are definetely worth getting hold of.

I have both the video and the magazine of this test.

The video test is done by Tiff Needell in the same cars as in the magazine shoot. From memory six rounds ending in a draw..

Test 1. Handling - BMW
Test 2. Performance - TVR
Test 3. Roof - BMW
Test 4. Styling - TVR
Test 5. Brakes - BMW
Test 6. Storage - TVR

If I can dig it out I'll scan and PDF.
