Short of ringing Carl Baker to help does anyone know how to resurrect the alarm after a totally flat battery ?

Hadnt driven the Chim for 4 weeks due to work (shameful I know) and no surprise the battery was totally flat. Had to break in to attach the charger - now shes charged but the plipper doesnt do anything. I can use the emergency key to start the engine but cant lock/unlock the doors.

Had this problem with the griff. I had to disconnect battery reconnect it then use the alarm remote straight away as i think you have 60 seconds to reset the alarm so it will work with the remote

Yes - if you disconnect the batery and reconnect it it has the effect of re-booting the alarm. Rich...
