Guys,

Late last year I ran over an obstacle in the road (coke can size but more solid) anyway the Chim glided to a halt and needed recovery.

On examination I have found the wire to the fuel pump pulled off, and I have temporarily soldered it to the fuel pump terminal, until I acquire a new plug. It works, however it runs appallingly, needing constant downshifts and it is missing until up to motorway cruising speed than all is well, more or less

I have reset the ECU to no avail.

When I investigated, I found a bracket closure (similar to that used to hold a light to a bicycle) caught up in the chassis, could this have come from the vehicle? More alarmingly I can now see the splines of the propshaft or diff, sure I couldn't before. Need help here as to what to to to make it run right and is seeing the internals exposed normal or have I lost a casing?

Appreciate this help.

Perhaps you've wiped out the road speed sensor. If I were you I'd get it looked at by a TVR specialist, you don't know what other damage may have been done and you may be looking at a damaged fuel line or brake line ...
