Leven parts, or maybe not.......?

Folks,

During my test drives at the weekend, prior to my new purchase (wheeee!!!) i drove a car which had upgraded stalks and steering wheel angle shifter thing, but did not look like the long slender Leven kit i'm familiar with. These were more stubby, solid seeming things, with rings etched, or grooves. Does anybody know where these may have come from?

IIRC Zertec did an alternative set at some stage.

I don't think Zertec are trading any more? I heard that the chap behind the company moved overseas. I was told this on another post when I enquired about 'afterburner' rear light clusters ( which they also used to make).

By the sounds of it, you have described the ones fitted to my car,
I was told when I bought it that it was all original and the ali' storks etc were fitted to late facelifted Chims,

Perhaps someone who's more familiar with the history can confirm if they were ever factory fitted.
