Supercharging a Rover engine is not new.
I'm well underway with it on the 520SE. This was taken in December. The engine is being rebuilt and setupo right now.
Underneath the pruple plenum are 8 50mm throttle bodies...
The spec is charge cooler and water injection. Theoretical power is around the 640 bhp but it will propably be detuned to around 500 ish for better reliability for the engine and the rest of the car.

Would it go in a standard Chimaera? yes but space is a real issue to get all the goodies in. Upgrading the rest of the car is not to be underestimated as well.

have a word with MR 63X...went out for a spin with him yesterday and he has got a supercharger on his...looks the biz and sounds awesome....straight thru exhaust with no pre or main cats!!!! (Goes quick too!!!)

i've had a quick think for about 1 second about it, how the hell do u get any traction with a super charged rear wheel drive canoue! my cars a standard 5ltr and the last time i could flaw the thing in 3rd without wheel spin was last september! roll on bloody summer.
