Better than Renovo!!!!
Discussion
The good weather we had last weekend, prompted me to have another go at cleaning the soft top and especially the soft top window which was really dull with quite alot of scratchs on it.
Id tried renovo before with what can be described at best, reasonable results, but thought id try something else.
Ive recently been introduced to Mothers products from the US, and the results have been outstanding to say the least.
Well i tried Mothers Plastic Polish which was voted best product in Classic and sports car mag and it was brilliant, the window now looks like new the clarity of the plastic is fantastic, the covertible cleaner was good too, a little went along way, all in all well please, i was actually thinking of having a new window sewn in it looked that poor.

A few weeks ago I had to let Mrs Sparky use the chim to commute to work for a few days.
Unfortunately the weather was frosty and the car iced up while it was parked outside all day. So before she began her homeward journey she used a plastic scraper to clear the windscreen and the back window
The window is now quite badly scratched.
Reckon your products up to the job?

My mate used that mothers plastic polish on his girlfriends 8 yr old mx5 and the plastic looks like new, i didnt see it before but he said it was brilliant stuff.
He used the renovo 1st found the results to be particularly poor and then tried the Mothers plastic polish which sorted it out very quick too.

Its not new, Its been for sale over in the US since the 70s'. We first came across when we were over there, went to a hotrod show and the vast majority of the showcars exclusive used these products. We spoke to lots of people and it became clear very quickly that many of the products were extremely good.
The company dont really tend to promote and market unless its the US. Its avery underground product over here you wont find it in the shops, only with specialists in the know.
We always look at Meguiars and Mothers as being 2 totally opposite companies.
The Meguiars range has a performance which is generally acceptable to most but certainly not top end on the whole, but the products are marketed extremely well and therefore their sales in europe have rocketed over the last couple of years.
Mothers on the other hand have a brilliant product range, but their marketing in Europe is virtually none existent.
We find that Mothers perform equally as well as zymol products costing several times as much. If anyone ever requires any advice please feel free to ask

Ouch that looks bad, however i had one scratch which looked like that, and did manage to get it out but took several applications. Might be possible but could take a few hours elbow grease to do it
