Evo Mag Fuel test

In last months EVO mag BP ultimate seemed to out preform shell optimax in the test vehicle .What's the general opinion?.

It doesn't really bother me, i have tried several types ......... BP ultimate, tesco's 99 ron, Shell Optimax and i'm sticking with the latter as there are quite a lot of shell garages local to me and they are generally busy aswell (good turnaround of petrol advised by others on here)

Currently use Tesco Super Unleaded 99, with the odd BP Ultimate. Mine runs best on Ultimate, and not much difference between Tesco 99 and Optimax. Nearest Shell garage to me is an 18 mile round trip which means i use a gallon just to fill up and get back!

I have 4 shell garages that i use within a 4(ish) mile radius of my house, and maybe others that i don't know about/use.

tops2... I've tracked many threads on this before and there are so many different opinions, i.e. some prefer Optimax, some BP and some Tesco's... at the end of the day, I don't think there's a massive amount of difference between them. Personally I prefer Optimax as a habitual user.

Thanks its just that the car is shunty on constant throttle at around 1500rpm-1800rpm.Its a 4.0HC, I looked at all the normal suspects but have drawn a blank. Although when i bought the car it had a flat battery for probably 1 month so think the ECU may have to learn again ??. Maybe at default mode?.
