I have a 5L and would like a little more noise. Steve (shpub) warns that sports exhaust can make if difficult to get under the 98dB track day limit - I used to have a Cerbie with a sports exhaust and can vouch for that! The straight through conversion transforms the sound of the car completely and is great if you like , the sound of American muscle cars.

The 50% or 75% exhaust conversions (rivergirl) sound like a good compromise. Does anyone have a sound file they can post?

A bit muttton mate?

Have you tried these

or considered this?

How about a mike near your exhaust wired to an amp and some decent speakers. You'd then be able to control and adjust the volume as you wished.

PHer Parrot of doom is a TV soundman and former Chimaera owner. He may be able to help.
