dash template

Does anyone have or know the whereabouts of a template for the dashboard?

I am going to take mine out this weekend and make a template anyway so i can make a new dash to replace my Leven one...going for new stainless steel push switches, push button start...possible new dials etc.

Just hoped such a template already existed so i didnt have to strip mine out, draw round it then put it back together!!!

What about asking Leven for a copy of their template or an outline of one of their display dashes? If you ask very nicely they may copy one onto paper/card and mail it to you? Worth a phone call as the worst they could do is say no?? Methinks it would be quicker than trying to get any info from the factory.
Alternatively, get a knackered one from a breakers like Bell Hill Garage, I am sure it wouldn't cost much as no-one else would want one! There must be loads of discarded wood dashes out there!!!
