ok, second post in 1 year of membership on PH!!

Just thought I'd show you a few pics of my freshly polished 4.0

Used some Mcguires products.... oh my god. came up like glass, and there's me thinking i might need a repaint!!

FYI Quick Clay and ScratchX on the body worked wonders. Also used PlastX on the rear screen which got rid of loads of scratches and made it 100% clearer. Then all over carnauba wax, then next generation wax.

What do you think?

ps. 8hrs cleaning time and I've yet to do the inside!!

just a bit of soapy and elbow grease on the wheels. They're not in bad shape apart from a couple of scuffs.

I try to keep them free of brake dust as much as possible, cos it eats into the laquer.

PlastX was £11.99 if I remember correctly.

The Quick Clay was great. It removes all the contaminates stuck to the paint as well as tree sap and any other nastiness. If you run your hand over your paint you will feel a slight roughness on some areas - this stuff smoothes it all out and brings the paint up like glass, first time i've used it and i love the stuff!
