On the centre console the bolster (Drivers side)is a little loose on the forward part, how do you get in there to tighten it ?, have the bible but can't see it in there.
I'd be interested to know too, I managed to loosen mine after having to clamber through passenger door (some plonker parked 6" from my drivers door) with roof on (was pouring with rain)
I'll be taking a good look this weekend, but if anyone out there knows........

The bolsters are one piece, with a flat section across the bottom which sits on the tunnel. The centre section slots inside the bolsters, and has 2 screws each end to support it. The actual bolsters themselves have no support other than their own structure and that afforded by friction against the centre piece.
There is nothing to stop the front of the bolster moving, and if yours is excessive then maybe the fibreglass has been split? Not sure if that makes sense. I have mine in bits at the moment, I'll post some pics tomorrow if I get the chance.
You only have to remove the two screws under the tray cover and the two screws at the front to be able to lift up the centre section and all will become clear.
Thanks Vic, yeh had look today , there is not that much play its just that there is no play in the pass side, i might be the leather Gliptone contioner which is quite slippy and run between the bolster and main part, and lost some friction. (its full a leather chimp).it would be great though if you could still post a pic. Thanks.
