Hi all,

My reverse light and the brake light don't work (they are on the same cluster)... but the "brake" light illuminates when my head lights are on. I also know that the reverse bulb is OK.

Should I check the fuses etc first, instead of gunning straight for the switches etc? Can anyone give me an idea on which to check - or is this one of those... "they're all different on different cars, take your pic" things.

Would have a look in the bible but Santa isn't here until Wednesday and I have a free Sunday this weekend. Apparently if I hassle him to get it here sooner anymore, I won't get anything.

Cheers,
Phil.

There are about 7 to 11 different fuse layouts (depending on definitions) so please take your pick.

Ther fuse layout is in the owner's handbook BTW. Not guarenteed to be the one in the car though

Might be worth chceking the fuses one by one anyway and checking the that brake light bulb is in the right way.

Sounds to me that you have a duff connector on the module and cleaning this up would be my first thing to do.
