Not tried recently, but I traded a V6 Alfa GTV in for the Chimaera, and if you think TVR P/X figures are scary, I got offered 15K less than I'd paid for it 3 years earlier from one dealer (the supplying dealer) which bearing in mind I'd bought it ex-demo at 6K less than list is considerably more frightening than the money you've probably lost on the TVR!......May as well have thrown my money into the bin, but the main thing is that you've enjoyed it, not how much it's worth!

Great cars, yes.........very very very bad dealers and aftersales......indeedie! I don't think 147's plummet as much as a GTV or a 166 (which is more like a lemming), the 147 JTD was great, I had one as a courtesy car, sort of sold me on the idea of a diesel, says he with two V8's, must get round to driving something economical one day!
