A hot topic, guaranteed to get a debate - what colour rags does a Chim look best in? I personally enjoy Cherry Pearl....

imperial or Starmist blue is the best, but there is something about the Chim that suits green better than most other tivs (bar the cerb)....

Whoa. Nice wheels! I agree with all on the starmist blue - though it is more subtle and perhaps less stand-outy, a beautifully shined starmist blue is quality.

I am new to the forums and unfortunately don't own a TVR as I am too young (to insure, not drive!) and do not have a garage (no chance of me keeping on the street in Luton). I have driven a Tuscan (best day of my life) but I have always loved the Chimaera and WILL buy one soon. I can just imagine the sound of starting it up for the first time.

So hello to all!

Blue Magnetique is well known to be the colour of choice for the connoisseur. The pale silvery blue is both classy and among the cognoscenti, recognised as the fastest colour a Chim may wear

Very nice.. Did you purchase your Chim with those wheels or are they an addition?

With all these differing opinions, what will I do when I finally take the plunge?

Different colours for different moods......

Yellow if you want everybody to notice you, blue / green / red if you want to be one of the crowd, but when the sun comes out, a well polished grey starmist Chimaera looks the absolute mutts... and if you add some stripes there would just be no need to continue this thread. My car wins

They look good in any colour*

The best colour I've seen though is pearlescent white - sounds odd but looked stunning in the flesh.

*serious answer - starmist silver of course
