A slight variation on a theme.

My car when I press the keyring, unlocks and then locks again!! Arrgghhhh

Now it is not too much of a problem as I can time pressing the door button and get in. It has not always done this and I feel sure I need to spray WD40 somewhere, but any clues/ideas?

Also, when I open the passenger door, it continually unlocks and then locks.

Not a big problem, but quite annoying, please help...

And Happy Christmas

Could be the locking button on the centre console stuck closed?

I thought that too, but sometimes the central locking works.

Ah, have you washed your car recently. Because this sounds very similar to a common Chimaera trait..

Check that there is a rubber pad on both doors, it should be directly opposite the push switch (on the sill). They have a habit of falling off, hence when you close the door, the push switch is not depressed resulting in the CL thinking that the door is open - voila, CL won't lock.

Of course, please free to shoot me down if I'm wrong!!
