Hi Everybody, another newbie saying hello after lurking for months.

Im new to the TVR scene, and Ive just bought my first one, although its not stopped snowing since!

I had been looking since Christmas, and turned down a couple but finally I decided to go with some experience, so it was off to James Agger for a W reg 4 litre. It’s in Crystal Verde, with the 500 alloys.
but thanks to Ian at Middlewich for checking out one of the ones I turned down.

And what can I say, every time I drive it, it takes me an hour to get the adrenaline out of my system.
Ive had quick cars before, but none gave me these feelings. I’m just waiting for the warm weather before
I really start to explore its potential.

So now for the newbie question:
Is it worth joining the TVR owners club? And do they have meets in the Manchester/Cheshire area.

Thanks for all the help, and hopefully see you around

That's my old girl - a tear in my eye but glad to know you're enjoying it! I already want another one, but not likely for a little while with my wife expecting in a couple of weeks. Ah well, just have to keep reading EVO and dreaming...

Interestingly mine is a sort of similar colour but listed as Nuvola Blue (turns gold in the sunlight) More interestingly is my reg number which is W411 SBC.
What is the early history on yours? Mine was purchased originally from TMS when James Agger was the sales manager. I am the second owner having bought the car from James Agger as an independent TVR dealer some three years later.

Hi Peter

Yes its another TMS car that was specced by James Agger. Its also got the Alloy dash and Minty dials(see JamesAgger.com).

He has also had it back and sold it a few times, must have made a fortune out of it

cheers Alan

Peter

Before I owned it, it was Keith F's (from EMTVRCC) before he bought his Cerb. I think I remember seeing you at an East Midlands meet - I only went to a couple but were you at the Langar Hall one in summer 2004? We had a fantastic drive through the Vale of Belvoir - I notice another one is planned this year, a shame I won't have a worthy vehicle this time!

That is a nice car, same colour as mine too, I also got ine from James and it was previously owned by Alison, Teds better half.

I'm currently looking at replacing my carpet, which is allegedly 'oatmeal' a sort of grey, what colour is yours?
