footwell vents and sigma alarm

Hi all.

Does anyone know where the passenger side footwell vent, the one that fits to the bottom of the heater air box, originates from? Mine is missing, therfore, passenger has lovely warm feet and I do not. I could just bung the hole up but would prefere to fit another vent.

My car is fitted with a Sigma (M30 I think) alarm but I have no book for it. Has anyone any experience of this alarm? Mine seems overly sensitive even if I set it with the ultrasonice detection dissabled it still goes off regularly when when I have my ligthweight full outdoor cover fitted. But is ok with the cover off.
