Just upgraded to the new Road Angel Navigator - great bit of kit, only trouble is my cigar lighter has no power. Looked in the bible to try to find the fuse and its all a bit confusing as the arrangement of my fuses looks completely different!
Car is a 97 Chimaera...so any help appreciated prior to me pulling fuses!
Oh yes the night illumination does come on, and the Navigator works fine in the Volvo...

I have a speed camera detector that i swap between cars and the lighter socket in my chim does not work. Checked the fuse in both the handbook (no specific mention) and the bible.

From memory (didn't bring it into work with me), the bible shows the lighter fuse is combined with the heated mirrors and heated seats (where fitted - if heated seats are fitted then the fuse rating can be increased. Again, from memory, think it was the 4th fuse in from one end of the fuse box - the end that starts with the headlights fuse? Perhaps someone could confirm?

Going to check all my fuses at the weekend if i get a chance but specifically that one.

Thanks Pete,
Think my Bible says its combined with the siren(?) and my mirrors seem to work ok. I'll have a dig around this weekend and I'll let you know if I sort it.

My lighter socket fell into the door. As a stop gap I use my accumate connector in reverse, i.e. as an outlet from the battery rather than a supply to the battery.
