Take the plunge and fit Toyo T!-R's. Once fitted you'll wonder why you bothered trying to hold on to those old bridgstones.

I've recently fitted two new bridgestones on the back, so i really ought to match the front if at all possible.

According to my son who works for ATS the Bridgestone SO2's and SO3's are no longer available. They phoned Bridgestone and got this information.
So it looks as though you will have to go for another make unless you can find a supplier with old stock

T1R's only available in V rating in this size. No option on GSD2 either. SP9000's are the only option unless your insurer will accept the downgrade to V rated. Just fitted SP9000's to the front of the Griff and they feel very sure (around 600 miles now). Mac is used daily so if they are good in the wet hopefully they'll be great in the dry.

I've found this on our Elan M100 and also my Corrado VR6, both of which run 205/50 R15

It is getting increasingly difficult to find performance tyres as so many manufacturers simply aren't bothering to make decent tyres in these sizes as they don't consider there is sufficient demand given that even your average shopping trolley now seems to be running 16's.

I've just spoken to a couple of tyre dealers who have confirmed the AVON ZZ3s are available in 205/55/15 ZR rating.

We had Avons when we bought the Griff (on the rear end) and they weren't good. Don't think they were ZZ3's though.
Dunlop SP9000's now on the front - they do a ZR in 205/55/15. Very impressed so far - not had any dry, warm weather to try them in yet though.
